We offer 19 different modules with 41 different lessons for primary and intermediate schools. We also have a pre-school module.
Our educators begin as experienced registered school teachers who are trained a further ten weeks to become specialists in their field. That's why we like to call them specialist teachers.
Our lesson content covers health and nutrition, self esteem, relationships and physiology of the body. A small part of our programme for older children looks at the effects of substances and alcohol.
In 2008, the NZ Council for Educational Research reviewed Life Education. Students, school leaders were virtually unanimous in their positive view of Life Education- see further details at http://www.lifeeducation.org.nz/
